World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) is an important day for raising awareness about elder abuse prevention and intervention. Every year, the Maine Council for Elder Abuse Prevention asks all elder abuse prevention and intervention advocates to get involved in raising awareness about elder abuse.
