To raise awareness of elder abuse across the state and to support collaboration among those working to stop elder abuse, the Maine Council for Elder Abuse hosts two annual events: the Elder Abuse Summit and the Elder Abuse Prevention Roundtable and honors World Elder Abuse Awareness day (June 15) every year.
