Are you a Maine journalist seeking more information about elder abuse? MCEAP has published the Elder Abuse Guidelines for Maine Journalists to assist you in your work reporting on this important issue.
Elder abuse, like most other types of abuse, is difficult to report on and fully quantify. The Maine Council for Elder Abuse Prevention created this media packet to help Maine journalists report on elder abuse and its repercussions. The packet also provides information on elder abuse, including: helpful statistics, where Mainers can go to get help, and helpful hints on how to approach elder abuse articles.
