Elder Abuse Task Force of Midcoast Maine

Mission:
The Elder Abuse Task Force of Midcoast Maine is a community partnership to raise awareness of elder abuse and to develop and strengthen systems that support elderly victims and their families. Education is a major focus, making every effort to see that members of the law enforcement, medical, legal, and financial communities, as well as those with direct contact with seniors (social service, personal care, etc.) become knowledgeable about the prevalence and severity of elder abuse, how to report suspected abuse, and how to access resources available to assist abused elders.
